Chocolate is one of the many things I love so I decided to try a recipe for brownies this week. It's fairly simple, quick (it takes 30 minutes all together) and delicious. Let me just say that they went as fast as they were made. I got the recipe from the site called It's written in slovene (all my fellow Slovenians can get it with just a click on the link). For those who don't speak slovene here is the recipe.

- Saucepan
- Weighing scales
- Bowl
- 2 Spoons (one for the melting chocolate and one for mixing ingredients)
- Baking pan/tray
- Dish
- Electric mixer

Ingredients (for 12 people; for 6 people just use half of the ingredients quantity):

- 250  g butter
- 250  g dark chocolate
- 2 cl rum (I used 1 shot-glass)
- 250  g brown or white sugar
- 10  g vanilla sugar
- 180  g flour
- 50  g cocoa powder
- 5 eggs (in case you're making it for 6 people use 3 eggs)
- 20  g butter (for buttering up the pan)

First & Second stage of Method

The Method:

1.)     Melt butter and chocolate in saucepan and stir it until you have smooth mixture. Preferably  use  dark chocolate with more than 45 % of cocoa content. It gives richer flavour. Remove saucepan from the stove and mix rum into the melted chocolate. Let it cool a little.
2.)     Mix suggar, flour, cocoa powder and vanilla sugar in a big bowl. Add melted chocolate mix and eggs. Mix all together with an electric mixer so that you get unified and smooth mixture.
3.)     Preheat the oven to 180°C/356°F. Butter up a baking pan and pour the mixture into the pan. Bake it for 20 minutes. When it's baked let it cool off. Cut the brownies into squares and serve them.
Second & Third stage of Method

Bon appétit!
